vintagepurples.org is the web site of the Vintage Purple Alumni Club. The club is an unofficial group of people who went to the University of Montevallo (AL) and were on The Purple Side during College Night. For more on College Night, please visit www.umcollegenight.com.

This site is the result of when, in November of 1999, Blair Chitwood, Stage Manager for the 2000 Purple Side, wrote to a few purple alums, asking if we might be interested in keeping up to date on PV info. A few of us said something like, "Sure, that'd be cool." (Read all about it, Mary.)
Who's in charge here?
You are! The "organization" that this site was designed to serve is unofficial, on the move, and constantly growing. As of 2004, we have established a Planning Committee to investigate options about becoming an official Alumni Association. The inaugural Vintage Purple Planning Committee: Elin Olson, Barbara Sloan, Joshua Jones, Michelle Tidmore, Katherine Turnbow, Emily Ryan, Lee Griner, and Blair Dyson.
